Mandalas and the Zentangle Method
- November 7–21, 2024 · 3 sessions · Thursday · 6:30 – 8:30pm

- Instructor: Sue Trembeth
- Class #33 · Fine Arts & Crafts
A mandala, which is Sanskrit for “circle” or “discoid object,” is a geometric design that holds a great deal of symbolism in Hindu and Buddhist cultures.
Mandala designs are used to focus the mind in meditation, teach people in religious training, and guide a meditating person to spiritual healing and enlightenment. As a mediative tool, mandalas marry perfectly with the Zentangle Method. In this class you will create different mandalas using tangles from Zentangle.
Please bring your Zentangle kit to class. If you do not have one, you can purchase one from the teacher for $12.00. You will also need a compass, ruler, and eraser. You do not have to have Zentangle experience, but it is highly encouraged.
