Life’s transitions are inevitable, yet often catch us unaware. This course explores the nature of the transition experience with a focus on aging, dealing with aging parents, caregiving, death and dying, and the grieving process. A variety of resources and coping strategies will be presented with class discussion and input.

Barbara Sorin holds M.Ed and M.PC degrees and is a retired board-certified hospital chaplain. For the last ten years she has been a counselor in private practice and has conducted grief support and caregiving support groups in the area.
