Chess Endgame for Advanced Beginners

Registration opens Friday, August 28, 2026.

Continue the Chess for Beginners class and see how to turn advantage into victory by learning the chess endgame. The class will be appropriate for those who know how the pieces move, up to those that play regularly. Endgame is not well studied, and many players struggle with this phase of the game. Absolute beginners will not get value from this class – they must know how the pieces move.

Anthony Durkin is a U.S. Chess Federation Certified Coach and Tournament Director and is the founder of Delaware Valley Chess Club. He has taught private lessons and classes for 15 years.
