Open to all levels, this workshop provides a supportive environment for writers to discover their unique voices. Using the Amherst Writers & Artists Method, we write on prompts that lend themselves to fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, and memoir.

Louise S. Bierig graduated from the University of Iowa’s Undergraduate Writers’ Workshop and is certified to lead workshops using the Amherst Writers & Artists Method. She has published her writing in The Philadelphia Inquirer, Peregrine Journal, Philadelphia Stories, The Schuylkill Valley Journal, Mayday Magazine, The Swarthmorean, shortédition, and the Best Short of Philadelphia 2021. She leads the Lansdowne Writers’ Workshop and is writing a novel.
