This visit will include a tour of the permanent collection, plus a visit to the new exhibition, “By Design: The Worlds of Betsy James Wyeth.” Most people don’t know about the importance of Andrew Wyeth’s wife in his successful career as an artist. This exhibit will astound you. There are no requirements except for comfortable shoes. You may want to bring cash or cards to have lunch in the lovely restaurant.

Emily Farrell has studied art for 25 years at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the National Gallery, the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art among others. She has been a docent at the Brandywine for 10 years.
