Joan of Arc wasn’t the only woman in the European Middle Ages. There were quick-witted authors, advice-giving abbesses, acclaimed artists and prosperous peasants. We will use images and the written word to explore their lives and find connections with newly discovered evidence and long-forgotten stories. Resources will include museum exhibits, novels, movies and histories.
