Students will view and discuss Robin Williams’ films Awakenings, Dead Poets Society, and The Birdcage, and Cher’s films Suspect, Mask, and Silkwood or Moonstruck.

Instructor: Richard Monastra

Richard Monastra is a native of South Philadelphia with a BA in American History from LaSalle University and a MS in Economics from Drexel University, with graduate work in American History at Temple University. In addition to teaching those subjects in high school and college classes for 42 years, he has taught other social studies courses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
